Craig has over 40 years of experience in the oil & gas industry starting as a teenager in the oilfields of East Texas. His primary areas of expertise are in drilling, completions, and production operations. He was an early pioneer in hydraulic fracturing and the use of high-strength proppants, authoring several technical papers. Previously, Craig was President & CEO of Forest Oil Corporation, where he was involved in over $7 billion of A&D transactions including several of which received industry award recognition. During his tenure, Forest was an early mover in horizontal drilling in the Granite Wash, Cotton Valley, Slave Point, Eagleford oil shale, Haynesville shale, and Utica Shales. Prior to that, he was with Apache Corporation where he served in various senior management positions including, Executive Vice President of Operations and Chairman & CEO of ProEnergy, an Apache gas marketing affiliate.
Craig also serves on the industry advisory board of Texas A&M Petroleum Engineering, is a past Chairman of the American Exploration & Production Council (formerly Domestic Petroleum Council), and past elected official in Harris County, Texas. He is an engineering graduate of Texas A&M University.
Kevin has extensive oil and gas industry experience, both domestic and international, in management, land and business development. He formerly held executive and regional management roles at Apache Corporation, including, being the first to serve as Vice President and General Manager of Apache Egypt Companies in Cairo, Egypt. In addition to Apache, Kevin has served in regional management positions at Castex Energy, Inc. and Pacific Enterprises Oil Company. Early in his career he worked for Terra Resources, Inc. and Enserch Exploration, Inc. as a landman. Kevin is also the owner of Shamgar Resources, Inc. which owns producing assets in the Barnett Shale and Illinois Basin. Kevin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Petroleum Land Management.
John is a recognized pioneer in horizontal drilling and managed pressure drilling applications. John previously owned and was President of Trebloc Drilling Engineering, LLC. He was involved in a shale gas development at Carrizo Oil & Gas where he served as Project Manager of New Ventures. He was directly involved with early horizontal drilling operations with Apache, Clayton Williams, Chesapeake, and Santos U.S.A. As an early pioneer in managed pressure drilling, John served as Vice President of Operations for Signa Engineering. He was the first to develop an engineered approach to mud cap drilling, which was used on Shell's Cogollo project in Venezuela. John's horizontal and underbalanced well experience extends to over seven countries & and over 21 unique formations. He has expertise in HPHT wells including offshore deep-water. John received his BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering with honors from Texas A&M University.
James is a seasoned financial executive and planner in the upstream oil and gas industry with twenty five years business and entrepreneurial experience. He is an accomplished speaker and negotiator with a proven track record of successfully defending financial and operational interests with business partners. James also has extensive international experience previously serving as Managing Director of the National Petroleum Company and as a finance executive and Director on the Boards of several Apache Corporation affiliates in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Prior to that he was a Manager with Price Waterhouse dedicated to oil and gas clients. James is also a Co-Founder and Managing Director of BlackCrest Capital LLC, an Angel Investment firm located in Houston, TX. James holds a B.B.A. degree with majors in Accounting and Finance, Investment & Banking from the University of Wisconsin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jon has over thirty years of experience in the energy industry as a Petroleum Engineer. He started his career with Sun Exploration and Production Company, worked on asset teams at Terra Resources, Conoco, Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas, Vastar Resources, and Devon. He moved into leadership positions both at Devon and Chaparral Energy where he was the Manager of Economic and Technical evaluations. He was authored and taught courses on portfolio risk analysis. Jon received his BA in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He has also completed programs at Cornell University in Business Leadership Skills, Financial Management, and Executive Leadership. He is currently the President-Elect of the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation.
Bryan has over 30 years of oil and gas experience primarily in the Permian Basin, Mid-Continent and East Texas. In addition, he has founded and co-founded several diverse corporations and LLC's focusing on real estate, document imaging and oil/gas investments. He has conducted business development seminars for thousands of people in South America, Central America, Europe, Canada, and throughout the U.S. He formerly held positions as Acquisitions and Divestiture Manager at JEC Operating, Senior District Geologist at Chaparral Energy, Senior Geological Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum, and Senior Geologist at Mitchell Energy. Bryan has a BS Geology degree from Texas A&M University and is completing a MS Energy Management degree(2014) from Oklahoma City University.
